Music

I like to write songs. Lately, I’ve come to enjoy playing them in front of others. Here are some of my musical forays:

  • The Mold Monkies: Power pop that substantiates Spinal Tap’s aphorism that “there’s a fine line between stupid and clever.” The debut CD is on sale now at various online and brick-and-mortar locations, including Apple iTunes and CD Baby, as well as Exile on Main Street in Hamden and Cutler’s Records in New Haven. The web site is in startup mode, but should have more fun stuff up soon.
  • Buzzbaby: Britpop, sometimes bouncy, sometimes dark and scary. Second CD in production. The web site has more information and streaming audio.
  • Solo album: In the conceptual stage, and likely to stay that way for a while.

Web sites

  • Quicksilver Communication: A communication company targeting clients in the health care, non-profit, and science and technology sectors.
  • gearbone.com: A site for funny creative stuff. Still in the conceptual stage. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Our own bin at Cutler’s — right between Molly Hatchet and the Mojave 3. Frankly, I wish we were closer to Mötörhead. Looks like a couple of copies have sold — OMG, GET YOUR COPY BEFORE THEY'RE ALL GONE. Because we only printed, like, a thousand.
